From anyone else, to anyone else, it might sound harsh, but as it stands, Jenny can only be appreciative of what he says. It's simple, it's honest, and after so long getting neither, both are appealing in ways she never expected them to be. She wants it to be alright, but he doesn't know what happened, and he can't make it so; as nice as consolation would be, there's none to be given, not with any certainty. Besides, she doesn't mind waiting. Some time away to live a life apart from all of that, it's bound to do her good. It won't change anything when she gets back, but this is still a welcome indulgence, at least some of the time.

"It will," she agrees lightly, summoning up a small smile, though it's resigned more so than hopeful. "Until then, there's no point in making too much of it."
