The faint uncertainty in her tone is more confusing than the words themselves, though Cameron isn't about to belittle the fact it matters to her. Though he'd hardly mind if she were, it's almost a relief, in all honesty. There would have been an added weight to all this if he were her first, and just the fact that it's their first time together makes this serious enough. He brushes a kiss along her jaw, then presses one to her lips, soft and brief. "I don't care if you are or not," he says, hand at her cheek as he draws back to look at her. He wonders if she thought it would, but she must have, to have brought it up, and he only hopes that he's saying the right thing. Either way, it's the truth. "It doesn't make a difference to me, as long as I'm with you. Do you... mind that I'm not either?" He's suddenly not sure what she expects on that front.
