He wants to do a lot more than that, but he keeps it to himself for the moment, willing to wait in order to get this right. When he kisses her, it won't be here, in front of a bunch of strangers who are barely even real. That, too, will be theirs and no one else's. "Come on, let's get something hot to drink.
