"Oh, no, they're lovely," Jenny assures him, glancing in his direction as she heads to the little kitchen with the flowers, expression earnest. Maybe they aren't much, but it is winter, and what's more important is the fact that they're from him and they're heartfelt. This isn't David sending her a bouquet before a concert or bringing over baskets of them in a bid to win over her parents (which she knows now that it was). Cameron is so wonderfully far from that that it's exhilarating all over again, sending a thrill of warmth through her as she fills a glass with water to place the flowers in. Heading back over to him, glass in hand so she can set it on a table, she bites her lip through a smile. "It's good to see you."
